Kevin Mullaney has been teaching improv workshops and classes for 20 years, first at Improv Olympic (now iO Theater) and then at UCB Theater in New York. He was the Artistic Director at UCB Theater and later ran the UCB Training center. He served as the Artistic Director of the Chicago Improv Festival and is the Artistic Director of Under The Gun Theater which he cofounded. He has taught workshops at the Del Close Marathon, Camp Improv Utopia, Philly Improv Theater, Washington Improv Theater, The Second City, The Improv Shop in St. Louis, & Project Improv in Louisville.
He teaches workshops and classes in Chicago. He has years of experience teaching Harold, deconstruction, monoscene, la Ronde and many other improv forms. His classes focus on honing the game of the scene, playing impulsively, and building comedy out of characters behavior and point of view.
